Celebrations

2012 was a very busy year for me. I’d like to share two celebrations here with you that mark years of training, coaching, and joy for me. In October of 2012, I applied for and received the highest level of coaching certification tOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAhat I want—Professional Certified Coach—through the International Coach Federation (the global certifying body for coaches). Then, in December of that same year, I completed three years of study with the Center for Transformational Presence Leadership and Coaching, winding up with becoming a Certified Transformational Presence Coach. I love this coaching paradigm and find that it serves my clients beautifully: they get awesome results when we work with the potential-based approach, their energy, the partnership between their soul and their ego, and much, much more.

My family celebrated with me during October and December. We had great fun, even though it’s really only my husband who witnessed all the hard work and joy experienced during these last few years. I celebrated these huge accomplishments by gifting myself with a mini Ipad; I love it!

Mostly, I found myself smiling a lot, exuding joy and the energy of happiness. That’s one way I (and you) can celebrate with the world, even when others don’t quite know what we’re celebrating. Others resonate to our wonderful, celebratory energy, and may respond in kind.Do think about all of the small and large accomplishments you make on a daily, monthly, yearly basis. It doesn’t need to be a certification of any kind—it simply needs to be an acknowledgment of yourself spending energy and time building a joyful, meaningful life. That’s what’s important: building joy, love, ease, and celebration of life into each day—even on a tough day.

If you look, you’ll find something worth celebrating, even in the midst of challenge. My family celebrated Easter here, yesterday. We had a wonderful time! My husband and I hid 65 plastic eggs (filled with pennies) for the grandchildren to find, which was great fun. Then we had a lovely meal and then time afterwards, relaxing together. More than anything, that’s what I cherish: time together, enjoying our lives. That’s worth celebrating every single time!Happy celebrations wished for you, Nicki
